About Neal Bonrud

Meet Neal Bonrud

I am an attorney focused on insurance coverage and probate as well as a West Point graduate and US
Army Veteran.
 

I was born in Auburn and grew up in Covington, Washington. Prior to graduating from Kent-Meridian High School, I was nominated to attend West Point by Senator Warren Magnuson and Congressman Don Bonker. I graduated from West Point in 1983 and proudly served for over 5 years as an officer in the US Army, including a tour at Fort Lewis (now Joint Base Lewis-McChord). After leaving the Army as a Captain, I attended law school at Arizona State University and then returned to Seattle to practice law starting in 1991.

My legal career has been primarily in civil litigation. I started in a boutique construction law firm and then later started my own law firm focused on insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, in addition to now covering probate and estate litigate.

My Value to You

My goal as an attorney is to take care of my clients during stressful times. That includes offering free 30-minute consultations for probate and insurance matters. I also offer contingency fee arrangements for insurance bad faith cases. I help people navigate the probate process and deal with issues that may arise in trust and estate disputes. I also represent people and businesses who run into problems with their insurance companies when they file insurance claims.
